I thought it was about time I updated. Nothing exciting has been happening this month. I have been sick on and off practically all month. The Dr. put me on new meds, birth control, because my hormones were all out of wack. So I had the pleasure of dealing with the side effects. I think I would be a miserable pregnant woman, if taking birth control is any indication. I pretty much suffered from all they symptoms. I haven't felt this crappy since before I got my gallbladder out. Well the nausea and light headedness finally started to tapper off. I was, however, still feeling very tired and had a fever. My normal temp is between 96.8 & 97.8 so when I have a fever of 99 it is something. Well I have been running a fever of 99 to 100.4. The temp is different in each ear. So with the different temp in each ear I think I have an ear infection. This past weekend I started feeling crummy again. I stayed home on Sunday and rested in the hopes that I would feel better. I ended up coming home early from work yesterday. My fever is up to 101 now. I started taking antibiotics yesterday and I took today off to give them time to take effect. Plain and simple....I'm sick of being sick.
So now that I gave an update I'm sure you are wishing I would have kept it to myself, but it is too late for that now. I hope to be back to myself soon. Spring is on the way and there are things that I want to do. Volleyball, Mexican golf, bike riding, yoga...its time to get healthy.

smile
I had to share this it makes me laugh, it happened a couple weeks ago but it is still funny.
I got a call from my doctors office. The lady on the phone told me I was "abnormal". Ha! Like it didn't already know that? Now, however, science is convinced that I am abnormal. Join the club.

My list
I have notice a trend on facebook lately. One person added a note of 25 random things about his/herself and another person had a list of 25 memories. I even saw a list of 10 things that make you angry. Lists seem to be the new thing, so today in Sacrament meeting I thought it would be a good idea to make a list of 25 blessing or things I'm grateful for.
Here is my list, in no particular order:
Here is my list, in no particular order:
- My dog JJ he is such an angle! He is the sweetest boy and minds almost perfectly.
- My dog KC he is my sunshine. He is the happiest dog I have ever seen.
- My dogs unconditional love. If I leave the house for 5 minutes they both will attack me with love and gratitude that I am home.
- Neal (my hubby) and his love for me.
- Our home: for the shelter it provides as well as the comfort.
- My job and for the opportunity it provides me to help others and make a difference.
- My car: it is reliable and just what I wanted (almost)
- The atonement!!! need I say more?
- My faith
- The Lords unconditional love.
- The Lords infinite mercy.
- My testimony of the restoration of the gospel.
- My family...love them!
- My friends...love them too!
- Grass in my backyard its my little piece of home.
- Neal's willingness & love of keeping the grass green.
- My ward family...their love, support & example
- My education. Thank you Neal, mom & dad for supporting and encouraging me.
- the power of prayer. I don't know what I would do without it.
- My agency...I have being told what to do.
- The temple...its a little piece of heaven on earth.
- Air conditioning!!!!!!!!!!!! The desert is way hot.
- My calling...I love serving in the young women's program. I'm learning so much. I love the girls already they are amazing.
- Music.
- The gift of the Holy Ghost.
- The scriptures
- Weight Watchers...for teaching me how to eat and think about food.
- My temple marriage.
- Great teachers.
- Scrapbooking.
Okay so I couldn't stop at 25. My life is filled with blessings, I could have kept going.
I made Neal write a list also. He had a hard time coming up with 25. Plus his list demonstrates how differently we think. One thing he is grateful for is that he is not a girl. I'm not sure what that is supposed to mean, but he is lucky he is not a girl. Being a girl is tough work and I don't think he can handle it. :-) I think in general women are hard on themselves. We judge ourselves to harshly and I for one don't take enough time to focus on the positives in life. If you are like me take a moment to list the blessings in your life. It will brighten your day! So TAG your it!
PS I can't wait to read your list.
